PKR: The verdict.
After a good session playing PKR, the online poker lounge that gives you the chance to create an avatar and play as you would in real life, I have more than a few reservations. First of all I have to say I am not one to be overly critical and what I say shouldn’t be taken as Gospel, but just a page note, something to consider.
Setting up the game on my laptop did take a little while compared to other poker sites, but that’s to be expected for all the graphics that is needed. But getting started is simple enough creating a character is easy and navigating around the different tables is simple enough too. There are a lot of games including the typical, and there is also a casino section for games like Roulette and slots. So there is no shortage of games to plat.
The problem for me however is trying to keep focus whilst you play around with all the avatar gestures, which is probably my fault but its worth mentioning. The game itself didn’t seem entirely genuine though, a lot of flops came down with strange combo’s including one flop which came down the same as the one before. This did strike me as suspect, but then it is a random game.
The main point I would like to make is that there are a lot better poker sites out there, the only real thing that would draw you to PKR is the avatar feature, which isn’t really why you want to play the game is it? If you want to play for fun, fair enough, but if you want to play a more serious game like I said there are better sites out there, Full Tilt and William Hill to name but two.
overall rating 6/10.
